Mini Brag Book

A mini brag book is a great gift for grandparents, friends, or party favors. This album will hold 8 standard size wallet photos.

Materials:

  • 1-2 sheets of plain cardstock

  • 1 sheet of cardstock to be used as accent

  • paper trimmer

  • scissors

  • chipboard

  • ruler

  • adhesive

  • photo corners (adhesive)

  • pencil

  • ribbon

Optional Materials:

  • chipboard shape(s)

  • paint/paintbrush (if chipboard is plain)

  • brads

  • paper piercer

  • pens

Directions:

  1. Cut two pieces of cardstock to measure 3 in x 12 in.

  2. Fold each (of the previously cut) paper at 4 in and 8 in.

  3. Adhere the second piece of paper to the third section of the first sheet, so that it folds accordion style.

  4. Cut two pieces of chipboard 3 in x 4 ½ in. These pieces will act as extra support to the brag book.

  5. Cut two pieces of cardstock 3 in x 4 ½ in.

  6. Cut two pieces of ribbon 5 in each.

  7. Adhere the ribbon between the chipboard and cardstock. (If you are using brads, you’ll need to insert them before adhering the cardstock to the chipboard backing.)

  8. Adhere the cardstock (measuring 3 in x 4 ½ in) to the chipboard and decorate.

  9. If using plain chipboard shapes, paint or adhere paper to the chipboard.

  10. Cut a piece of paper to measure 2 ½ in x 3 ½ in, this will be the wallet photo-size template for your photo corners. Photo corners are useful if you’re giving the mini brag book away as a gift or even if you’d like to change your pictures at a later time.

  11. Put photo corners on the edge of your wallet template and place adhere to the pages. This album should hold 8 photos (with 4 on each side).
